Justin Trudeau Manspreads On Mag Cover As Twitterverse Goes Into Meltdown

Delta Celebrates Canada’s 150th Anniversary with Fare Sale; Prime Minister Trudeau July Sky Magazine Cover Story (PRNewsfoto/Delta Air Lines)

Man of the moment, global sex god and leader of the free world, Justin Trudeau, has sent airline travellers hearts aflutter after he (oddly?) appeared on the latest cover for Delta Airlines’ inflight magazine Sky.

With the Maple Leaf in the background, the 45-year-old Canadian PM straddles a chair in a saucy manspreading position. Apparently, the doe-eyed PM agreed to appear on the cover (and subsequent interview) to celebrate Canada’s 150th anniversary.

An accompanying media statement from Delta appears to link Trudeau’s cover appearance with budget flights from Canada to the US. “And by putting our 11 great Canadian destinations on sale, we hope that Canadians and Americans alike take advantage of our award-winning service with thoughtful employees and innovative on-board products and excellent operational reliability,” it read.

However, Twitter fans of the cover appeared less interest in cheap flights and more about Trudeau’s “high school teacher” good looks. Here’s a pick of the social media tweets:Screen shot 2017-06-29 at 9.12.32 AM
