A Current Affair Reporter Cops A Beating From An Old Man

It’s likely that A Current Affair reporter Taylor Auerbach will be asking Nine for a pay rise if last night’s episode of the primetime show was anything to go by.

Auerbach was waiting outside for 74-year-old Christie Kovachevski to appear from a court appearance in Wollongong after being charged with burning down his unit.

When Kovachevski finally emerged, the ACA reporter didn’t waste any time confronting the elderly arsonist.

However, the confrontation soon turned violent, with Kovachevski landing a few punches and kicks on Auerbach, before finding a stick to prod and smack the reporter (see below video).
