Canadian Pop Star Alessia Cara To Help Launch iHeartRadio LIVE 2017 Series Down Under

Australian Radio Network’s KIIS FM has announced that Canadian pop star Alessia Cara will deliver a special performance to celebrate the launch of Australia’s iHeartRadio LIVE 2017 series later this month.

Powered by Optus, the launch will take place on Tuesday 28 February in Sydney, is the first of a huge series of iHeartRadio LIVE events planned for 2017.

KIIS is giving fans of Cara the chance to win tickets to the launch via the iHeartRadio website, with one lucky fan to win a trip for two to Sydney and a meet and greet with the Canadian pop star.

Fans who aren’t lucky enough to catch Cara live will be able to see the performance on Network Ten’s music TV show, The Loop, on Saturday 4 March.

Brett Nossitersaid, content director at iHeartRadio Australia, said the radio streaming giant was “stoked” to have Cara kick off its first iHeartRadio LIVE event for 2017.

“The amazingly talented Alessia performed at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas last year, and I’m so glad we can bring her to town to play for her Australian fans!” he said.
