A happy snap with The SMH or The Age could win big

To celebrate the move to a compact format for its newspaper weekend editions Fairfax’s media division has launched ‘The Ultimate Compact Weekend’ where consumers take an interesting photo of themselves and upload it for a possible prize.

All you have to do is take a photo of yourself or a friend holding one of the new compact editions of The Sydney Morning Herald or The Age while you’re in the middle of doing something you enjoy on the weekend.

Upload the photos to the website. You can enter as many times as you’d like, with a winning photo picked every four weeks.

“This promotion is designed to appeal to our media agency and advertiser clients and create awareness of this historic move to a weekend compact format for The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age,” Chelsea Wymer, Fairfax media national trade marketing director, said.

“It will also encourage our agency partners and our clients to explore the new changes and interact with the great content both newspapers provide, as well as offer the chance to win a premium, exclusive weekend away.”

Read more about what changes and differences there will be in the new compact editions here.

The competition opens March 3, with winners for various prize packages chosen every few weeks after. The prize package is worth over $80,000, including five star travel and accommodation packages.
