M&C Saatchi Recruiter To Head Online Session For Adland Insights & Career Guidance

M&C Saatchi Australia’s recruitment director, Nick Dean, will be delivering the final instalment of this season’s Inspire, Growth Sessions, offering guidance and advice for individuals across the industry looking for a new role, or simply interested in a change.

With twenty years’ experience recruiting in the creative and marketing industries, Dean has had the opportunity to work with an incredible range of talent, from coordinator level through to CEO. In his role as recruitment director at M&C Saatchi Australia, no day is ever the same. In this interactive session, he’ll discuss targeted career development; how to identify and take advantage of your interchangeable skills; the importance of bringing a positive attitude to every role; and the balance of soft skills vs functional skills – what to focus on, and when.

Having started his career in account service and client-side in marketing before transitioning into recruitment in 2000, Dean has worked extensively across the advertising, digital, creative, marketing communications and technology sectors, so has an innate understanding of the professional challenges facing individuals as we navigate through the COVID-19.

Dean will be joined by Dene Gambotto, founder of specialist marketing recruitment agency, iknowho, who has spent her career dedicated to helped hundreds of marketing talent find new roles within companies such as M&C Saatchi, DDB, Nickelodeon, Woolworths, Expedia and The Sydney Opera House.

The online session is the final in the six-part program of actionable insights to guide tomorrow’s leaders to long-term career success. Guests are encouraged to ask questions, receive guidance and absorb key information from top industry talent. The session. Will kick off on Thursday 20th August from 1pm, with free registration open now.
