Marriage Breakdown Takes Witty Turn In Particularly Bleak Real Estate Ad

Marriage Breakdown Takes Witty Turn In Particularly Bleak Real Estate Ad

Typically, there’s not a whole lot of laughs when it comes to a relationship breakdown.

However, that’s not stopped French real estate network IAD from using the theme in, what could be described as, a controversial new campaign.

The work of Parisian agency Rosapark, the ad shows a divorcing couple in the final throes of cohabitation as they start to get bombarded by annoying phone calls from real estate agents wanting to sell their property.

Detractors could argue it veers dangerously close to domestic violence, however, it probably has enough wit and humour noir to save it from a savaging.

Check it out the spot. And, yes, there’s subtitles.
