Indie Agency Ruby Communications Hires Zoe Teasey As Group Account Director

Queensland independent agency, Ruby Communications, has announced the appointment of Zoe Teasey as group account director, overseeing the agencies client remit throughout Queensland.

Returning to Queensland after six years in Sydney, Teasey worked internally across award-winning brand Contiki before moving to head up the PR and marketing for industry-leading network Business Chicks.

In 2016, Teasey moved back to agency, working across campaigns including Victoria’s Secret show for Beachwaver, Dimmi for Amazon Alexa and opening Australia’s first Jelly Belly store.

Teasey said: “I am delighted to be back on the Gold Coast after so many years away and part of the team at Ruby.

“I have joined at such an exciting time for the agency and looking forward to being part of its growth.

“Ruby has a great client remit and is really changing how clients value PR and communications in Queensland which was what attracted me to the role.”

She concluded: “I am looking forward to bringing my experience to the team and clients and being a part of that impact.”

Ruby communications director Naomi Spies said she was delighted to have enticed Ms Teasey to return to Queensland and lead the agency’s Gold Coast operations.

Spies said: “Ruby has experienced tremendous growth in recent times and Zoe is the perfect person to help guide us through the next phase of our evolution.

“She has gained a wealth of knowledge during her time in Sydney and our clients are sure to benefit from her experience working with high-profile brands across a range of sectors.

“Zoe will also play a key leadership role in the Gold Coast office and I’m excited by what her arrival means for the development and nurturing of the hard-working team we have assembled.”
