Instagram has announced an expansion of its branded content tool to all users who have Insights capabilities.
This will mean that as of today, all accounts with access to Insights will also have the ability to use the ‘Paid Partnership with’ tag.
Since introducing the branded content tool in June, the tool has made it easier for creators on Instagram to easily communicate when they partner with a business.
The expansion of the tool allows for an increase in transparency between brands, creators and the community to explore and share their passions on Instagram.
Now, creators using the tool will receive in-app notifications when our systems find content that falls outside of our policy.
In these cases, the content’s creator will be notified through the Instagram app and will have the option to tag a business. These notifications are intended to help creators adopt the ‘Paid Partnership with’ tag and educate the community on the Instagram’s branded content.
