Tourism Fiji's new global marketer

Tourism Fiji has lured Tourism New Zealand’s regional marketer, Ken Freer, from London to Fiji for the newly created director of global marketing role.

Freer, who has more than 15 years marketing experience in Sydney, Auckland, Los Angelees and London – was most recently Tourism NZ’s regional marketing communications manager with responsibilities for North America, the UK and Europe.

Freer said: “As a regular visitor to Fiji for over 20 years, it has always been a very special place for me.  Fiji presents visitors with great value and I believe the industry is posed for greater and exciting growth.”

Prior to entering the tourism industry Freer owned a marketing company in Auckland with clents including American Express, Citroen and Jaguar.
