Haystac moves to Perth

PR and marketing communications agency Haystac has launched a new office in Perth bringing over social media analyst Adam Barrell to lead the agency.

Due to his abundance of Perth pride, Barrell was the founder of Twitter account ‘Tweet Perth’ which now provides a hub for happenings around WA’s capital city.

“We’ve carried out some heavy due diligence in WA over recent months and following consultation with existing clients, our peers in the local communications network and our Perth-based Dentsu Aegis Network sister agencies, we concluded that Perth is hungry for more digital PR consulting expertise,” Patrick O’Beirne, Haystac’s national general manager, said.

“We will move quickly to round-out our full-service offering by introducing our other national communications practice areas including consumer PR, corporate affairs and behavioural change communications.”

On his new role at Haystac, Barrell said, “Good content and social media strategy are two areas experiencing increasing interest in the marketing communications mix in Perth. Indeed many have been calling out for it for some time!

“Haystac has a great reputation in other markets for creating impactful and effective campaigns for a large set of high profile clients so I look forward to helping paint the new Perth picture.”
