Magnum PR Rebrands On Tenth Birthday As Magnum & Co.

After ten incredible years as one of Australia’s leading PR agencies, Magnum PR will today rebrand to Magnum & Co.

Acknowledging the importance of future-proofing and staying attuned to the dynamics of media consumption, removing PR from its name will allow the agency to continue building on its integrated service offering across social/digital, experiential and content marketing.

“We changed the way we approached our work several years ago where we stopped treating PR as the only means with which to communicate our client’s stories. We started to focus less on channel and more on how we could tell our client’s stories in the most creative way. This opened up the opportunity for us to play in the social media and digital marketing space with creative content leading everything we do,” said managing director, Michelle Hampton.

Magnum’s social media and digital division is now the fastest growing category for the agency alongside its award winning content marketing offering following the agency’s recent CommsCon award for Launch Campaign of the Year for Grill’d Healthy Burgers’ healthy girl and healthy guy video content series.

In conjunction with the new name, Magnum & Co has launched a new website and branding including an updated logo.

“This is a really exciting time for us and our new name will ensure future brand partners see us as much more than a traditional PR agency.  Whilst our legacy is PR and will always form the essential backbone of everything we do, dropping PR from our name felt like the right thing to do,” Hampton added.

Run by director, Katie Barclay and managing director, Michelle Hampton, Magnum & Co is and will strategically remain an independent mid-sized agency enabling a continued focus on being highly adaptable, always delivering for their clients without any constraints.

With a string of new business wins including Swarovski, 3DR, Wok on Inn, Polk Audio, Chugg Music,  Power Crunch, Proto Whey, Pawshake and Sophos, the agency has also bolstered its team with recent hires including account director Charli Ferrand, and social media manager Stephanie Fisher.
