Lion takes The White Agency's Sandy Park

The White Agency’s managing director Sandy Park has left to join its client Lion as a marketing communications director, prompting a leadership restructure at the digital agency.

Park, who was promoted to the MD role of the STW owned agency in 2009, is now marketing communications director of Lion’s beer, wine and spirits division.

Miles Joyce, chief executive of White, said: “We are genuinely delighted for Sandy.  This is a great role for him and he deserves this opportunity.

“At the same time, it’s of course bitter-sweet. Sandy and I have worked together for many years and he has been a great asset for White.  I am going to miss him sitting next to me every day. I can't thank him enough for his passion, commitment and contribution to getting us to where we are today – a genuine digital market leader.

“And of course we are looking forward to working with Sandy now as a client on the diverse range of work we do with Lion.”

Andrew Davenport (pictured left), who has been on The White Agency board since March 2011 as client service director and more recently as general manager, has been promoted to the role of managing director.

Steve Lemlin’s (pictured right) finance chief role has been expanded into chief operating officer.
