Should it come to fruition the Google Pixel Watch could challenge Apple’s long-held smartwatch market dominance.
Rumour mills are in overdrive as the Google Pixel Watch becomes scintillatingly close to materializing as a real, tangible product.
Google has already tried to launch an OS Watch at the Pixel 6 event in October this year, but it was ultimately delayed because of a supposed chip shortage.
At the time of the event, the host of the Youtube channel Front Page Tech (FPT), Jon Prosser said in a tweet, “Last I heard, it was delayed until Q1 2022.”
“It’s still happening, just not tomorrow,” he added.

To date, many companies have tried and failed to compete with the Apple Watch. This is understandable seeing Apple has created yet another revolutionary product that has fundamentally changed the technological world and our lives alike.
Nonetheless, the sleeping behemoth of Google is beginning to awake from its slumber, they’ve already readied up to dive into the OS Watch fray partnering with fierce Apple rival, Samsung.
Should the rumoured pictures turn out to be the real deal, the Pixel Watch will have a minimalistic circular design with a crown for adjusting physical controls.
Unfortunately, aside from the physical design, there is very little known. The leaks haven’t revealed specs or given any rundown of features.
