Last week we brought you the story of the American restaurant that had reopened from the COVID-19 lockdown with blow-up dolls to fill the empty seats social distancing had left.

And it seems this restaurant isn’t the only one turning to inflatables to replicate bums on seats.

A Korean Football team is today under fire for using sex dolls to fill empty seats in its stadium to replace spectators during a recent match.

FC Seoul took on Gwangju FC recently, as the K-League became one of the first major sporting leagues to return to play.

However, the return of live sport is now embroiled in controversy, after eagle-eyed spectators identified the blow-up dolls as sex dolls.

After suspicions of the sex doll mishap started circling on social media, FC Seoul fessed up to the gaffe, issuing an apology on Instagram.

The apology blamed the supplier for the error.

It has also been claimed by The Sun the dolls were holding placards that were in fact promoting a local adult shop, although this has not been confirmed.
