WPP AUNZ has announced the appointment of Kate Walker to the newly created role of group client director, as part of a push to drive deeper horizontality and collaboration across the group’s 80 operating companies.
Walker will work alongside chief business director, Rob Currie and chief strategy officer Rose Herceg, with a clear remit to provide clients with best-in-class talent and capability from across the group.
Rob Currie said hiring leaders of Walker’s calibre is part of the Group’s objective to deliver 100 per cent of clients’ customer experience requirements.
“Kate is an incredible talent with a wide breadth of leadership experience plus deep specialisation in managing large diversified teams of talent for clients,” Currie said. “As clients increasingly demand bespoke Team Models, Kate’s experience will be invaluable to ensure WPP AUNZ creates strong, effective collaborative team cultures that truly work for its existing, and prospective, clients.”
