Justin Bieber Ad Libs His Way Through Goofy Donut Ad

Canadian coffee chain Tim Hortons has enlisted arguably the world’s most famous Canadian to plug its new range of mini donut treats.

None other than Justin Bieber – an Ontario native like Tim Hortons – stars in the goofy spot plugging the chain’s new range of Timbits (mini donuts) that have been re-named to Timbiebs in the 27-year-old singer’s honour.

In the minute-long promo TVC via creative agency GUT, Bieber hams it up as himself as he attempts to invent new Timbiebs flavours before finally settling on chocolate white fudge, sour cream chocolate chip and birthday cake waffle.

GUT admitted the spot was “largely unscripted and improvised”.

Adding to the collaboration, Hortons is also about to release a Bieber-inspired merchandise range available via its 5100 US and Canadian outlets.

Check out the fun below:

For his part, Bieber has also been regularly spruiking his love for the brand via a number of Instagram posts.

However, the promo appears as divisive as the singer himself. Not everyone a fan.

There’s even a French version of the ad despite Bieber not speaking a word of the language. Not that it appears to have mattered.
