Isobar CEO Konrad Spilva Exits

Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN) has announced the resignation of Konrad Spilva as Isobar Group Australia CEO and DAN head of innovation following 18 years with the business.

From the 7th of June, Spilva will begin an advisory role with both the Isobar Group ANZ and DAN, and he remains a DAN ANZ Board Member.

Spilva began his career as an original Founder of Visual Jazz, which was subsequently merged to rebrand as Isobar, with him as Managing Director, ANZ. He then took on a broader DAN role, leading Innovation, Isobar Group Australia and Isobar Good, the social impact arm of the business.

According to a DAM statement his departure has been in discussion with senior leadership for some time, following his decision to support his wife with their business, LVLY.com.au, and continue his active involvement in both Bridge Road Brewery and data consultancy, Alkhemy.

Jean Lin, Global CEO of Isobar said: “We would like to thank Konrad for his leadership and constant dedication to making Isobar Group Australia the brilliant, innovative group of businesses it is today. Konrad has had an incredible career journey during his time at DAN, and been an innovative, transformational leader across nearly two decades. I am very much looking forward to continuing to work with Konrad, with a focus on the global launch of Isobar Good.”

Henry Tajer, DAN ANZ CEO said: “I said when I started, DAN ANZ is an incredibly diverse, progressive and agile organisation, largely due to our brilliant people and laser focus on our clients. Konrad has made a huge contribution to building Isobar Group ANZ to what it is today, and driving innovation across the network. While I’m sorry not to have worked with him in his CEO capacity for long, we are thrilled he will remain with us at an advisory and Board level.”

Spilva added: “This has been an incredibly hard decision to make. I’ve had the privilege to work with so many amazing people during my time with Isobar and the Dentsu Aegis Network, and I’m exceptionally proud of what we’ve managed to create together. The Isobar Group is in great shape, has exceptional leaders and has never been better placed to grow further. While now’s the right time for me to focus on supporting some personal ventures, I’m really pleased I will stay connected to DAN and the Isobar team, and can’t wait to see what’s next.”
