Holy Vegan Chicken! KFC Working On New Vegan Menu Item

KFC in the UK is reportedly working on a new menu item that will cater to the growing number of vegans across the country.

BBC One Show host Nisha Katona was given exclusive access to the new vegan “chicken” burger and was the first member of the public to get a taste the new item.

Katona said the fast food chain’s new vegan burger was “brilliant” but was still being worked on.

A KFC spokesperson told 7NEWS.com.au KFC Australia has no plans to create a vegan burger for its Aussie customers but it’s not totally off the table.

The spokesperson said: “We don’t have any plans to launch a vegan ‘chicken’ burger in Australia, but never say never!”
