Hamish Blake And Andy Lee Renew SCA Partnership

SCA has confirmed a new long-term partnership with the most loved and enduring entertainment duo in the country, Hamish Blake and Andy Lee.

It will see the pair continue to produce their hugely successful weekly podcast, Hamish & Andy, alongside new seasons of Hamish & Andy’s Remembering Project that will be initially published exclusively on LiSTNR from 2022.

Hamish & Andy started their radio careers with SCA and have gone on to transform their creative approach to broadcasting and fierce connection to their fans to build a podcast audience that saw an incredible 47 per cent year on year growth* and has made them the number one comedy podcast in Australia for a staggering four years straight.

Last year the boys launched Hamish & Andy’s Remembering Project where they have dug deep into their meticulous archives from 2,500 shows across two decades to see if they can recall what was going on behind the scenes at that exact time.

Hamish & Andy’s Remembering Project has evolved into a show of often incorrect recollections that make for an irreverent and hilarious trip down memory lane. Season two of Hamish & Andy’s Remembering Project saw a 23 per cent increase in unique listeners^ and a third season will launch next year.

Hamish and Andy said: “We had our doubts as to whether the internet would hold its relevance and deeply suspected it would fade away like CDs and DVDs. Thankfully, it remains strong and a great place for us to house our podcast for people to grab on their preferred platform. We’d always said we’d do 40 shows for 40 years. Four years down, thirty-six to go!”

Hamish and Andy’s award-winning weekly podcast, Hamish & Andy, is published every Thursday via the LiSTNR app and all podcast platforms. Seasons one and two of Hamish & Andy’s Remembering Project are available via the LiSTNR app with season three launching next year.
