FITmedia, the team behind women’s health magazine Oxygen, Clean Eating and CrossFit publication The Box has announced plans for a new B2B magazine Fitness Pro.
The March issue, which launches this month, is an Australian first in that it is the country’s only B2B fitness magazine aimed at club managers and personal trainers that will also be available on news stands, and retail for $9.95.
A print run of 45,000 has been ordered for the first issue, which is backed by global giant IHRSA, and a copy is being sent to every single gym and fitness institution and company in Australia.
Executive Publisher Michael Henry told B&T: “With 30 years in publishing this year, we still get very excited about launching a new magazine. Gaining the support of IHRSA and now Fitness Australia, this title will have the ‘meat’ of a solid B2B hub, combined with the design of a consumer fitness magazine.
“It will allow the reader to know what is going on in the international world of fitness with scoops on trends, gear and people, while still providing motivation and tips on cutting edge workouts. We believe every high end fitness junkie and fitness professional will enjoy this title.”
