Federal Govt’s Department of Industry Picks Host/Havas To Work On Business.gov.au Platform

The federal government’s Department of Industry, Innovation & Science has selected Host/Havas as its digital services partner, with a remit across its business.gov.au platform.

The appointment forms part of the department’s strategy to expand its digital engagement capabilities and deliver higher-quality support to the business community.

Host/Havas will make use of the agency’s breadth of digital capabilities in its digital hub of over 100 specialists.

The team will be tasked with providing UX, design, data analytics, development, and consultation on digital platform technologies.

The engagement will involve the development of new features, enhancing the user experience and the introduction of content personalisation.

Emma Walker, manager of the digital engagement capability team at the Department of Industry, Innovation & Science, said: “Through a competitive process, Host/Havas was selected to partner with the business.gov.au team to deliver an improved experience to users of our business.gov.au platform.

“This partnership is already delivering results with a new way of navigating starting a business being launched in March.”

Host/Havas managing director Dan Smith said: “We’re thrilled to work with another large federal government department who are progressive in their ways of working.

“This new partnership is testament to our agency’s extensive digital capabilities which provide complex and creative digital solutions that deliver results for our clients.”
