David Droga is behind a stunning new piece of creative from Facebook labelled ‘Never Lost’.
Carrying the tagline “we’re never lost if we can find each other”, the ad reminds us all that even in these tough times, there is joy to be found in our human connections.
The 90-second film was first unveiled by Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg earlier this morning.
“We made a short film “Never Lost” to honour the solidarity and resilience of so many people coming together during this time. Thank you to everyone doing your part,” he said.

The campaign, which is made up of real stories and content from around the world, is voiced by British poet Kate Tempest, reading her 2019 poetic song “People’s Faces”.
Facebook CMO Antonio Lucio shared the video on Twitter, thanking Droga and his New York City-based agency Droga5.

“Alongside Facebook, we’re humbled to honor the solidarity and resilience of so many people coming together during this time,” Droga5 said in a statement.
The ad is promoting Facebook’s Community Help function, which serves as a way for people to request or offer help to neighbours, such as volunteering to deliver groceries or donating to a local food pantry or fundraiser.
Community Help was first launched in 2016 as a way to assist people in natural disasters and was used in Australia earlier this year as part of the bushfires response.
It is now available in Australia to ease the pain of COVID-19.
