The Drive Network Recruits Ex-Ten Exec Darren Anderson As Chief Revenue Officer

The Drive Network, publisher of Drive.com.au and TheMotorReport.com.au, has announced the appointment of Darren Anderson to the new role of chief revenue officer.

In his new role, Anderson will be responsible for managing the national sales team and will report to the Drive Network board.

Anderson joins the Drive Network from Ten, where he recently resigned from his position as commercial partnership director, which he held since 2014.

Prior to that, Anderson was group sales director at ACP (now Bauer Media) and CEO of Village Roadshow owned-and-operated business Lifestyle Rewards.

Shane Pettiona, executive chairman of the Drive Network, said: “The Drive Network is delighted to be appointing Darren to the position of chief revenue officer.

“Darren is one of the most respected media executives in Australia. His industry knowledge and extensive contacts will be a significant addition to our already experienced and growth-focused team.”

Commenting on his new role, Anderson said: “I am looking forward to joining the Drive Network and leading what is already an experienced and committed team.

“For me, the opportunity to work in a business with growth opportunities is most attractive. The platform that the Drive Network has developed makes it perfectly positioned to be the next major player in the Australian digital market.”

The Drive Network is a joint venture between Fairfax Media and four private industry investors.
