One of the more difficult briefs for any agency – maybe death insurance aside – is to make toilet paper ads funny.
However, US brand Seventh Generation has come dangerously close in a new spot starring comic and actress, Maya Rudolph.
The spot, the work of 72andSunny, sees Rudolph singing about the virtues of Seventh Generation’s recycled loo roll and the benefits it has to trees.
Thankfully, Rudolph comes with some musical prowess, having once performed in alternative rock act The Rentals in the mid 90s.
“It’s not a tree’s duty to clean my booty,” Rudolph sings before adding: “It really is absurd that home for a bird would be used to wipe a turd.”
