Independent production company The Woolshed Co. has announced that director Matt Weston has joined its roster across TVC, viral and digital content.
Weston is best known for directing the Chiko Roll ‘Handy Holder’ campaign, Meat & Livestock Australia’s ‘The Honeybadger’s Home Videos’ series, and various viral stunts including stealing the Big Mango from Far North Queensland for Nandos.
Weston also helmed the award-winning rock and roll feature documentary COSMIC PSYCHOS: BLOKES YOU CAN TRUST that premiered at the 2013 Melbourne International Film Festival, which led to a slew of other documentary projects for WorkCover, the Heart Foundation and BUPA.
The Woolshed’s executive producer and co-founder, Dave Christison, said: “In addition to Matt’s extensive experience in TVCs and docos, his unique tone of voice and resourceful approach to directing, he also brings along his own bag of tricks when it comes to creating highly sharable, viral content. A perfect fit for The Woolshed.”
