Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN) has announced it is postponing the release of its first-quarter earnings results because of the turmoil created by the global pandemic.
The Tokyo-headquartered holding company said the spread of CV-19 has caused delays in some of the company’s accounting procedures.
DAN boasts well in excess of 1000 separate companies across the globe and had touted that it would release first-quarter results in mid-May.
The company has not advised of an alternative date for the release of the numbers. Dentsu has withdrawn full-year earnings guidance for the time being.
Most of the major holding groups will have reported first-quarter results by the end of this week when Omnicom and WPP are scheduled to report. Both IPG and Publicis Groupe reported earlier this month.
