Cricket Australia (CA) has reportedly found two companies to replace Carlton & United Breweries (CUB) and the Commonwealth Bank as the naming rights sponsors for Australia’s male Test and T20 teams.
Sydney-based assets management company Magellan Financial Group is understood be keen on the Test sponsorship, while KFC has shown interest for the T20, according to The Australian.
All three of Australia’s national male sides are without naming rights sponsors following the exit of CUB in March and CommBank’s decision not to renew its contract with CA.
Alcohol behemoth Lion signed a four-year gold partnership with CA in March shortly after CUB cut ties with the cricketing body, which begins in July.
