Coles Chooses Casey Donovan As The New Face (& Voice) Of Its ‘Down Down’ Campaign

Supermarket giant Coles has announced that it has appointed former Australian Idol winner Casey Donovan as the face and lead singer of its reinvigorated ‘Down Down’ campaign.

Casey’s appointment comes as Coles drops the price on 34 San Remo pasta products as well as its Coles Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies.

Launched in 2010, the ‘Down Down’ campaign has been synonymous with dropping prices, and was arguably made famous through legendary English rockers Status Quo.

Coles chief customer officer Simon McDowell said: “Casey is one of Australian’s favourite entertainers, so she’s a perfect fit for her to lead our campaign and bring her unique sound and personality.

“We hope our customers will enjoy dancing ‘Down Down’ our aisles while picking up lower prices.”

Commenting on her new gig, Donovan said: “I feel honoured and privileged to be the new face of ‘Down Down’ at Coles. Not only is Coles the one-stop shop to get ‘Down Down’, savings, but Coles also does a lot of fabulous things for charities and to support local communities. I love that.”
