Clemenger BBDO Melbourne Boosts Customer Experience Offering

Kicking off a number of new hires, Gayle While is joining Clemenger BBDO Melbourne as head of CRM, lending an extra pair of hands to boost the expanding customer experience offering.

While began her career with stints at digital agencies AKQA and Digitas Modem in the UK, before moving to DLKW as head of digital. She has also been at the helm of major global brands like Xbox, Nike, Unilever, Cadbury’s/Mondelez, Kelloggs, HBOS, McCain, Peugeot and General Motors.

Most recently While was client services director at Lavender, and is also responsible for creating award-winning work for Westpac, St.George, Telstra, American Express, Bupa and IKEA.

While’s introduction will allow Catherine Graham the opportunity to focus more of her time on the strategy side of the business, seeing her role evolve to customer experience planning director.

Clemenger BBDO Melbourne CEO Nick Garrett said, “Hiring someone with Gayle’s capabilities and seniority sets the benchmark for the type of business the agency is shifting towards and how quickly we want to get there.”

“With Gayle, we are not just bringing a wealth of CRM and digital experience into the agency, we are also bringing in someone who can be part of redefining the shape and type of work we associate with creative excellence and category-leading effectiveness.

“I’m personally thrilled because Gayle is my first senior hire since joining Clemenger BBDO Melbourne and I know she will instantly make a big impact. Gayle’s rare blend of experience coupled with her passion for creativity and ideas means she will be playing a big role in our future.”

While added, “The opportunity to work at Clemenger BBDO with Nick at the helm was simply too good to pass up. Clemenger is a force in this market and I’m excited to be working with such a passionate executive team.”

“It’s a privilege to join a team so focused and passionate about creativity and effectiveness. I look forward to playing in a role in evolving the work we do for clients. I can’t wait to be part of it all.”
