Creative communications agency One Green Bean has announced that Claire Salvetti (main photo) has been promoted to the role of CEO, succeeding Carl Ratcliff who has stepped down from his role to start his own strategic agency.
The Havas-owned One Green Bean has offices in Sydney and London and helps brands tell their stories in memorable, useful and entertaining ways.
Commenting on her promotion, Salvetti said: “I’ve learned a lot working with Carl, in particular the power that can be created by an individual who brings razor-sharp insight, a clear vision and contagious energy. We have an incredible team and a powerful ethos built around originality, so I am looking forward to seeing what we will achieve next.”
Anthony Freedman, chairman of Havas Group Australia, added: “Claire has been an exceptional managing director over the past three years, coaching the team to deliver award-winning and effective work whilst creating a strong and nurturing culture by inspiring people to be their best.
“I’d like to thank Carl for the commitment and passion he has given to One Green Bean in his role as CEO and wish him well for his future endeavours.”
While Ratcliff commented: “I’m very excited about what lies ahead in respect of a new strategic project I’ll soon be able to discuss. But, I’m equally sad about leaving the Beans.
“I’ve learned so much, made friends with so many and understood the amazing impact of earned media as a channel. It doesn’t suffer fools! OGB is left in the superb hands of Claire Salvetti with an extraordinary team around her and a client portfolio that remains the envy of many.”
