Matildas’ Sam Kerr Stars In Nike’s Latest Inspirational Ad Celebrating Women’s Football

Nike has unveiled its latest inspirational ad celebrating women’s football, with Matildas superstar Sam Kerr taking centre stage.

The ad entitled ‘Dream Further’ features young football player Makena Cook on a journey of the game alongside her idols.

Matildas player Kerr plays a major role in the three-minute long ad, which also features star players like Dutch footballer Lieke Martens, Barcelona’s Philippe Coutinho, PSG’s Neymar, English player Alex Scott and more.

Kerr told Fox Sports: “It’s an honour to feature in “Dream Further” alongside so many incredible female footballers.”

“We are heading into the biggest tournament of our lives, and it’s awesome to unite fans around the world to support us all.

A new face of Nike this year, the ad is Kerr’s latest front for the brand after she recently launched a new pair of boots with the company, worn exclusively by herself, Cristiano Ronaldo and Kylian Mbappe.

According to the SMH, Kerr is set to become the first Australian female footballer to earn more than $1 million in a year as part of her contract with Nike.
