Foot Locker Enlists The Stars & Plays For Laughs In Latest Spot

Foot Locker has drafted in some heavy hitters for its latest campaign in the US. The ad starring Houston Rockets forward PJ Tucker, singer Pia Mia and young actor JD McCrary.

The work of BBDO New York and called “The letter”, the spot jumps between the trio reading a fan letter whose wish is to meet them all.

Failing an actual introduction, the fan’s more than happy to take a new pair of Nike Air Max (in size eight). Anyway, we won’t spoil the ending…

Commenting on the spot, Foot Locker North America vice president, marketing Patrick Walsh said: “Everything we do at Foot Locker we do ‘Because Sneakers,’ and we know our customer’s every impulse and motivation revolves around their love of sneaker culture.

“Because Sneakers represents a shared belief and comes to life in this spot as we see a young sneakerhead go to extreme lengths to convince real-life stars to aid in his quest to secure coveted sneakers.”
