Hooray! Becks Returns In New Fitness TVC That Asks ‘What’s Your Why?’

David Beckham is urging us all to get fit for the kids in a new campaign for Asian life insurance firm AIA Group.

The ad, titled ‘What’s Your Why?’, sees the former soccer star and all-round man-hunk running around the streets of Bangkok at dawn.

It’s the brainchild of creative agency BBDO Singapore and was directed by American cinematographer Wally Pfister who won an Academy Award in 2010 for his work in the film Inception. Check out the inspiring ad below:

Commenting on the ad, Danny Searle, chief creative officer, BBDO Asia, said: “I love working for clients who set out to change the game. And with AIA stating their intention to change insurance from being something that’s there to protect you when you’re sick, to being there to make your life better every day, is a huge change. Oh and, having the huge talent of David and Wally to work with, well that was a real bonus.”
