Burger King’s Back Trolling Its Competitors In Spooky Halloween Spot

Burger King’s Back Trolling Its Competitors In Spooky Halloween Spot

If there’s two things Burger King love it’s Halloween and flame grilling its competitors in its ad campaigns.

And to celebrate all things ghousts and ghouls, the burger giant in the US has unveiled a new poster campaign centered around five abandoned fast-food restaurants.

It’s not explicit but it’s pretty clear the derelict buildings are former McDonald’s and Wendy sites.

The abandoned restaurants are located in Texas, Dayton, Ohio, Alabama, McHenry, Illinois and Johnston, Rhode Island.

Copy on one of ads reads, “Beware of places that never flame-grilled.” The second ad reads, “Legend has it, they never flame-grilled.”

Called “Scary Places” the campaign’s the work of MullenLowe while a Burger King spokesperson added: “Why are these places so scary? When they were open, they did not deliver the beloved flame-grilled taste.

“On some nights you can even hear the sizzling screams of the flat top. What could be scarier than that?”

Check out some of eerie work below:
