After a thorough review of its marketing capability requirements, online wagering platform Betfair has appointed a collective of independents for their brand relaunch across Australia and New Zealand.
Creative studio Bear Meets Eagle On Fire will lead creative duties, while Untangld will lead brand and customer strategy support. In addition, SPEED will handle Betfair’s media analytics and planning.
The understanding is that work on the new brand platform will roll out in 2021.
Betfair marketing director Nick Thomas said: “This is a group of partners with world class talent and an ambition for driving business outcomes.
“As an exchange, we have a unique proposition, and we’ve been impressed by the unique thinking and quality of work the team have already shared. We thoroughly believe there is room for some very different work in our category, and we have the right partners to help develop it.”
Bear Meets Eagle On Fire markets itself as a creative studio that helps good brands and people think and make things differently.
Untangld is an open consultancy, providing access to the best strategic thinking and research tools for marketing and innovation, without what it says is the “usual consultancy BS”.
SPEED is an independent media agency driven by data analytics and communications strategy to deliver fast results for dynamic marketers.
