Audi is calling a UK advertising review, including its creative business, which has been handled by Bartle Bogle Hegarty London for 37 years.
According to Campaign, the review is a statutory one, which is being led by the procurement team.
While the pitches are set to begin in May or June, the results won’t be in until January 2020.
It is believed the incumbent BBH is repitching.
Audi is one of BBH’s founding clients, with the agency holding the business since 1982.
It was co-founder Sir John Hegarty who came up with the well-known slogan “Vorsprung durch technik”, which loosely translated into “advancement through technology”.
BBH has created plenty of award-winning campaigns for Audi, including 2017’s “Clowns”.
