Good news, folks: B&T Bootcamp is back! Following a successful inaugural event this year, one of the best and most educational days on the industry calendar is returning in 2019, presented once again by MediaCom.

Yes, we know it’s not 2019 yet. But when it comes to B&T Bootcamp, it’s never to early to get your ticket.

Especially because this year, we’ve rounded up some amazing speakers to lead mentor sessions – and attendees will participate in speed networking, learn from experienced mentors and develop new self-awareness along the way.

Five of the eight mentors for 2019 have been announced, including fan-favourite from last year, Willie Pang: CEO of MediaCom. The other mentors attendees can look forward to hearing from are:

  • Anna Karena – chief creative officer, CX Lavender
  • Damian Pincus – founder and creative partner, The Works
  • Eric Thomson – marketing director, Pernod Ricard Australia
  • Jee Moon – vice president of marketing, American Express

It’s well documented that businesses invest heavily in training their staff in the functional aspects of their job, but teaching skills relating to emotions like purpose, negotiation and resilience are often neglected, and it’s these skills that retain and win business.

Which is why, as well as eight killer mentoring sessions throughout the day, there’ll also be three masterclasses, teaching attendees invaluable skills and knowledge relating to emotional intelligence, and how it can be used day-to-day.

Just one masterclass speaker has been announced so far – and we’re super excited about her. Nicole McInnes is the CMO at OVO Mobile, and will be running a masterclass based around how everyone is emotionally-based.

This session will make attendees aware of the true dynamics between people at work and how illogical, energy-based and unwritten human behaviour is – and give them tools and advice to take back to the office and put into motion.

As a result of Bootcamp, attendees will leave with a brand new mindset and a fresh take on business – having learnt a ton throughout the day. Just ask last year’s attendees.

The 2019 B&T Bootcamp will be held on March 18 at the NSW Teachers Federation in Sydney’s Surry Hills.
