ARN today announces Richie Wright has been appointed to the position of Content Director in Adelaide.
Richie will begin his new role from Monday, October 19 and will be based in Adelaide working across both Mix102.3 and CRUISE1323.
Since joining ARN in 2016, Richie has been based in Sydney in the role of Assistant Content Director for KIIS 1065. During this time he has also worked as a producer on KIIS 1065’s Kyle & Jackie O Show, KIIS Network’s national night show and hosted The Voice radio show which aired across the KIIS national network.
Of the internal appointment ARN’s National Content Director Duncan Campbell said, “It’s always a rewarding feeling to be able to promote from within the company, and Richie has the experience and skills to take on the role of Content Director in Adelaide. I am looking forward to seeing him lead the team to even greater ratings success.”
Of his new role, Adelaide Content Director Richie Wright said, “I’m really excited to join the team in Adelaide and bring my love of radio to a new market. Mix is a strong brand, has a heritage breakfast show and a team full of great people. I can’t wait to help it sparkle even brighter and further grow its market dominance.”
Richie has worked in radio for more than 10 years and held a number of roles at stations in Perth, the Sunshine Coast, Sydney and Hobart including Assistant Content Director, Announcer, Music Director and Executive Producer.
Richie’s appointment follows the resignation of Adelaide Content Director Barry Keohane last week.
