Amanda Keller Tears Up While Discussing The Latest Tragic Mass Shooting In America

Radio Host Amanda Keller is a complete pro, but even she found herself overcome with emotion this morning while discussing the latest massacre in America.

At a primary school in Texas, eighteen students and three adults were tragically killed in a mass shooting. When Keller got the news, she’d only heard fourteen children had passed away and she took to the airwaves to share her very honest thoughts on the situation.

Keller, choked up when discussing the harrowing story and according to news.com.au she said: “You know, after Sandy Hook, when small children were killed, you think, ‘They (America) can never change’” Keller explained to her co-host Jonesy.

Keller continued, “We’re hearing this morning, it’s happening now, 14 elementary schoolchildren shot, a teacher shot – killed. Another batch of children in hospital were shot.

“Elementary school is primary school, ages five to 10. Fourteen children, dead. And this is America, who at the moment are fighting for abortion rights, so that even if you’re raped, you cannot abort that child.

“But right-to-lifers don’t give a rats about children from the minute they’re born. That you can allow an elementary school kid just to turn up at school and be shot! What awful news this morning.” Keller said.

Keller’s monologue was both powerful and poignant and Keller’s ability to get to the heart of a very big and awful issue proves why she’s one of the best in her industry.
