ALT/Shift Sydney Launches With Andie Crawford As General Manager

Integrated communications agency Alt/Shift has announced the appointment of Andie Crawford as general manager for its much-anticipated Sydney office.

With over 15 years’ experience in PR and integrated communications, Crawford has worked with some of the world’s best known and most respected PR consultancies – most recently at Porter Novelli Sydney – delivering campaigns for clients including Campbell Arnott’s, Pepsi and Mr Kipling.

Crawford is a consumer brands expert and has worked with the likes of McDonald’s, Emirates, DreamWorks and Bunnings Warehouse to name but a few, in Sydney, Perth and the UK.

Crawford’s move follows the recent announcement by Alt/Shift that it is expanding into Sydney following its success in Melbourne where it works with a client base including brands across the Lion Dairy & Drinks portfolio, Origin Energy, Crown, Mazda, Openpay and more.

“It is an exciting time both for myself and for Alt/Shift and I am looking forward to bringing a truly out-of-the-box communications offering to the Sydney market.

“In the current climate, a fresh look at communications both strategically and creatively is essential and I believe that Alt/Shift offers that and then some….I can’t wait to see what the next few months bring”, said Crawford.

Crawford will work closely with Alt/Shift’s Melbourne-based leadership team to deliver impactful integrated communications programs for both local and national clients and to bring to At/Shift the best talent that Sydney has to offer.

Managing director Elly Hewitt said: “Crawford’s impressive breadth of knowledge and experience and comprehensive understanding of the complexities of the Sydney market as well as her passion for people management and fostering positive workplace culture made her the perfect choice for this role.

“She is a great match for our team and we’re delighted to welcome her to the Alt/Shift family” said Hewitt.

Since Elly Hewitt, Sam Vassos, Anton Staindl and Richard Hayward combined to launch Alt/Shift in August 2016, the agency has quickly grown to become one of Melbourne’s largest.
