Alpha Digital’s Brad Gellweiler Joins Brother & Co. As Its First BDM

Brisbane-based creative agency Brother & Co. has announced the appointment of Brad Gellweiler to its newly created role of business development manager.

Gellweiler joins Brother & Co. from Alpha Digital, and has extensive experience in digital marketing and campaigns, including for omnichannel retailers Petbarn, Matt Blatt and Tradelink.

Brother & Co. co-founder Piet Human said the new role reflected the agency’s aspiration of becoming one of Australia’s leading independent creative agencies.

“In a fast-moving industry, clients old and new expect a quick response, and with Brad on board we now have the added resource to act even more nimbly,” Human said.

“Brad’s strong digital background also gives him the relevant context for many of today’s challenges and opportunities. We didn’t want a sales guy, but rather an experienced problem solver who could help unearth opportunity and foster positive relationships.”

Commenting on his appointment, Gellweiler said: “The landscape is highly competitive, but I look forward to helping more clients access the strategy-informed creative product Brother so passionately creates.”
