MLA Recruits Lee Lin Chin For Epic Australia Day Ad!

Aussies away from home, get ready for Operation Boomerang to bring you back Down Under, says Meat & Livestock Australia’s latest ad.

Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA) has really upped the ante this Australia Day ad, enlisting none other than SBS’s sassy newsreader Lee Lin Chin in partnership with Lambassador Sam Kekovich for Operation Boomerang.

Operation Boomerang sees a daring rescue mission unfurl for those Aussies overseas to get them back in time for Australia Day, including, it would appear, Princess Mary’s own hoisting and helicopter ride.

The ad sees Lin Chin traumatised by her time in Warsaw when it was freezing and “not a chargrilled chop in sight”.

“That was no way to spend Australia Day,” she says, vowing to never let it happen to another Aussie again.

Check it out below.

MLA has been well-known for its annual Australia Day ads, going so far this year as to release a teaser trailer last week for the above ad.

The MLA Australia Day ads have seen some massive names show their face, including cricket commentator Richie Benaud, who sadly passed away last year, and long-time lamb ambassador and media personality Sam Kekovich.
