Hilarious Ad Shows What History Would’ve Been Like With Smartphones

Smartphones are often derided by the do-gooder brigade as destroying the brains of children and turning us all into egotistical maniacs.

However, UK telco Three is having none of the anti-phone sentiment in a riotous new campaign that highlights how much better history could have been if our forebears had possessed an iPhone.

The work of Three’s creative agency Wieden + Kennedy London, the ad poses the question: “Life was better without phones?”

The clever spot sees the Titanic being saved by a quick thinking shipmate with a smartphone, Neanderthals discovering the ease of pizza delivery and even the fall of Rome being prevented by LinkedIn. Check out the top piece of work below:
