David Jones Puts Creative Account Out To Pitch

Iconic Aussie retailer David Jones is reviewing its creative agency roster, with the business transitioning to Melbourne.

TBWA’s chief executive for Australia and New Zealand, Paul Bradbury, told B&T the agency has made the decision not to participate in the agency review.

“We would like to thank David Jones for their partnership over the last five years. We are very proud of what we achieved together. I would also like to call out Maud for their strong partnership over the last five years.”

A David Jones spokesperson confirmed the review to B&T, saying: “David Jones has worked with TBWA for the last five years and has valued the creativity that they have brought to the David Jones brand.

“We are currently undergoing a review of our creative agencies and have gone to market after an appraisal of our needs to ensure we have options that will suit our business in the future.

“We thank TBWA for its contribution over the course of our partnership.”

The news comes after TBWA Sydney revealed it had resigned Foxtel’s creative account just yesterday.
