Adshel Announces Two State Sales Appointments

Adshel is clearing desk space for two new staffers joining the Queensland and Victorian teams.

Sales and marketing director David Roddick has announced Katy Parry will return from maternity leave on 30 November as state sales manager, QLD, reporting to head of sales strategy and operations Michael Riach.

Matt Adams, currently the acting state sales manager QLD, has been appointed to the role group sales manager – Victoria, reporting into state sales manager, Victoria Collene Wright.

Parry has over 10 years’ experience across the out-of-home and television industries.

Kate Parry PS

Joining Adshel in May 2008 as a senior account manager, she progressed to group sales manager in 2012 until December 2014 when she went on parental leave. Prior to Adshel, Parry spent three years in sales roles across the Nine and Seven Networks.

Of Parry’s return, Roddick said, “I’m delighted that Kate returns to Adshel after parental leave occupying a larger role as state sales manager,” Roddick said of Parry’s return.

“As a born and bred Queenslander, Kate’s return to Adshel brings a wealth of local market understanding. I welcome Kate back to the business along with her energy and expertise.”

Adams also has over 10 years’ experience in advertising sales in the out-of-home sector. He first joined the Adshel South Australian team in 2013 as the acting state manager and moved to the Queensland sales team in 2014 as state sales manager to cover a maternity leave contract and has continually improved the bottom line for the Queensland sales team.

Prior to Adshel, Adams was the senior agency client executive at DMG Radio (part of the NOVA Entertainment group).

“I would like to thank Matt for his absolute passion in managing the Queensland team through an exciting time as we have built up to the launch of Adshel Live,” Roddick added.

“I’m thrilled Matt has accepted a new challenge as the group sales manager in Victoria and I have no doubt he will achieve many more great things in his new role.”

Both appointments are effective 30 November.
