“We’re very excited to be bringing a fresh, vibrant show to Adelaide in 2022,” said ARN chief content officer, Duncan Campbell.
“Ali Clarke brings extensive radio broadcasting kudos and is much loved in Adelaide, and together with Erin Phillips, plus the humour and wit of Eddie Bannon guarantees The Ali Clarke Breakfast Show will be a fantastic offering for listeners of Mix102.3.
“Erin had a fantastic year and was nominated as the Best Newcomer On-Air in the 2021 Australian Commercial Radio Awards, a testament to her dedication and hard work. Mix102.3 listeners have really embraced her.
“Together, with their knowledge and passion for Adelaide, Ali, Erin and Eddie are the perfect combination for a unique breakfast show in the market. This new show will further strengthen our relationship with listeners, and we know audiences will embrace them wholeheartedly.”
On joining Mix 102.3, Clarke said: “I have always been a massive fan of Erin, knowing her through the Crows, so to work with her every morning will be a joy. Eddie Bannon followed me home from the Fringe Festival and we have been mates ever since. I’m glad to be back at ARN and Mix where my radio career started in 2003. It’s a full circle moment for me and I’m very happy.”
Mix102.3 has also appointed Shaun Sandilands as new The Ali Clarke Breakfast Show executive producer, following a successful 2021 with the breakfast team.
