Ten’s Puberty Blues pushed back above the half a million mark last night to win the coveted 8.30pm time slot.

The drama was watched by 556,000 people last night, which is 176,000 more viewers than it won last Wednesday night when the finale of The Block: Fans v Faves took place.

The result is also better than Puberty Blue's second season which debuted to 538,000 viewers in March.

Ten’s Jamie & Jimmy’s Food Fight Club pulled in 582,000 viewers to sit behind Seven’s Home and Away (895,000) and Nine’s RBT (694,000).

Ten’s total share of all free-to-air viewers was 19.6% last night, putting it ahead of the ABC’s 19.5%.

Ten’s primary channel won 12.6% while ABC1 took home 12.9%.

The night’s ratings winner was Nine with a total 29.5% share and 20.5% for its main channel.

Nine had the most watched program of the night with Nine News (1.201 million) and Nine News at 6.30 (1.143 million).

Seven News (1.084 million) was Seven’s most watched program.
