Digitas' Roger Box returns to Clems

Clemenger BBDO Melbourne has recruited Roger Box, who worked on the multi-award winning American Express ‘Small Business Saturday’ campaign, as director of digital experience.

Box takes over the role from Mark Gretton who has moved to become head of digital strategy.

The appointment marks a return to the Melbourne agency for Box who worked there as an account director a decade ago.

Box was most recently vice president of Digitas New York.

Peter Biggs, chief executive Clemenger BBDO Melbourne, said: “We are delighted to welcome Roger back home. He’s a world-class talent, born and bred in Melbourne. Digitas New York is a brilliant digital agency and it’s a fantastic coup to have Roger join us. I have no doubt that he will make our already strong digital capability even stronger.”

American Express’ ‘Small Business Saturday’ campaign won nine Cannes Lions in 2012 and generated US$5.5bn in sales. Click here for more on the campaign.
