Coffee Club gives Brisbane a dose of Ricky

Earlier this month Brisbane shoppers were treated to a quickie performance from a fake Ricky Martin as the Coffee Club went out to build exposure of its partnership with the popstar.

A mysterious and supersized volume dial was positioned in Brisbane’s Queen St Mall, when passers-by responded to the prompt to ‘turn it up’ an impromptu performance was triggered.

Dancers and fake Ricky Martin sprang to life and performed to the singer’s track, She Bangs.

More than 1,500 shoppers stopped to watch the ten activations over three hours. To see their reactions view the video below.

The Coffee Clubs partnership with the singer’s Australian tour offers consumers who spend $10 at any Coffee Club in Australia the chance to enter a draw to win tickets to one of Ricky Martin’s shows.

Seven passes for four lucky people to meet Ricky in person are also up for grabs.
