Pitch2Punch 2014 registrations now open

Following the success of 2013’s first ever Pitch2Punch, Pitch2Punch 2014 is now recruiting its next group of incredible Industry Champions.

Organised in association with B&T, Pitch2Punch is the marketing and media industry’s biggest corporate challenge.  Following 12 weeks of intense training, 20 plucky pugilists from across Sydney’s media and marketing world will step into the ring to go toe-to-toe with an industry peer.  One of them could be you. Have you got what it takes to become an Industry Champion?

It’s the most fun you can have while standing on two legs.

The Details

Pitch2Punch culminates on the 18th July at the Sofitel Wentworth Sydney Hotel Ballroom at a Black Tie Gala night for 500 industry colleagues, peers and friends.  With the night helping to fight anxiety and depression in support of beyondblue, every single well-timed punch will be doing someone in Australia a whole world of good.

Training will take place at the UFC Gym in Alexandria, boasting some of Australia’s best training facilities, close proximity to public transport direct from the CBD and free on-site parking.  The training includes weekly one-on-one sessions, group training and group sparring with head trainer and Australian Masters Super Heavyweight Gold Medal Champion, Jonathan Dooner.

Event organiser Gareth Eden-Styche from shambles communications says “there is nothing quite like walking into a ring in front of 500 screaming industry peers. Not only will you reach peak physical performance, but you will have more fun than you ever imagined and do your future employment prospects no harm at all!  If you’ve ever thought about doing it, stop thinking and start punching!”

Here’s what some of last year’s Industry Champions had to say:

“Transforming from someone who refused to hit someone to giving someone a bloody nose still makes me feel like a bit of a bad ass” Jamie Lim, UM

“Pitch2Punch is one of the most rewarding challenges I have done. A great event, culminating in a night I will never forget” Tom Edmonds, DGM

“Pitch 2 Punch was an excellent experience from start to finish. Train hard, get fit, learn how to take a punch and then celebrate with an excellent gala, black tie evening. I strongly recommend anyone who has ever thought about it to take the plunge and sign up!” John Manning, Manning Consulting

Benefits exist to all employers, including sponsorship, logo recognition and at-event communication, with sponsorship packages available to businesses interested in supporting this great event.

Training starts on 29th April and applications close on 11th April.

Entry is open to men and women of all levels of fitness.  Interested Industry Champions can enter online at WWW.PITCH2PUNCH.COM or email info@Pitch2Punch.com for an entry form.
